To enlighten, educate, and entertain.
It is the mission of KCSN Radio to serve the public interest and necessity by the conventional non–commercial means as stipulated in our license from the Federal Communications Commission, FCC.
KCSN serves the University and the local community as a creative, artistic, intellectual and educational entity by providing fair and equal opportunities for staff, students, and community volunteers to develop their individual skills in a professional broadcast environment.
KCSN’s focus is to provide quality programming and information while adhering to the cultural needs of its audience, which reflects the educational programs provided by California State University, Northridge.
