Twang! and traditional Country music is alive and well on KCSN! Long time friend of the station, Rowena Muldavin, has now stepped in to continue our commitment to keeping traditional Country alive. Listeners will not only hear their favorites from the past, but new artists who are keeping real Country music alive and well.

Folks, New Traditional Country music is not an oxymoron!

Rowena has traveled all over the Southwest in search of the “real deal” and has built a library of, in the words of her DJ pal, Tom Wardle, “the best Country music you’ve never heard.” She will include fresh covers of legendary songs, live recordings, Western Swing, hard core honky tonk, a touch of Bluegrass and simply the best Country there is, including artists from a variety of countries, including Australia, Sweden, Germany, Norway, the UK and even St. Lucia in the Caribbean!

In addition to Cowboy Nick, who recently departed the radio station for new and exciting career opportunities, Rowena includes past KCSN Country hosts George Fair and Marvin O’Dell as her mentors.
